Water Tank Waterproofing Service

Water Tank Waterproofing Service

Professional Water Tank Waterproofing for Lasting Protection

Water tank waterproofing is essential to prevent leakage and seepage that can damage both the tank structure and the surrounding areas. Concrete water tanks, whether overhead or underground, require a proper waterproofing system to stop water from escaping or external moisture from entering.

Over time, waterproofing layers can deteriorate due to natural wear and tear, poor workmanship, structural cracks, ponding of water, or even chemical reactions caused by constant water storage. When this happens, leaks may occur, leading to water loss, contamination risks, and structural damage.

To ensure the durability, safety, and hygiene of your water tanks, regular inspection and timely waterproofing maintenance are necessary. At Aquacare Solution, we provide specialized water tank waterproofing services designed to extend the lifespan of your tanks, ensuring reliable protection for both residential and commercial properties.

What We Offer

Your Trusted Solution for Water Tank Waterproofing

We provide professional structural repairing and waterproofing services to effectively stop water leakage in reinforced concrete (RC) tanks and other concrete structures. Our method targets the root cause of the problem by repairing the damaged areas, not just covering the symptoms.

Our service includes thorough cleaning of the RC tank, detailed inspection of failure points such as honeycombs, crack lines, exposed steel bars, and construction joints, followed by structural patching using non-shrink grout. We also apply angle fillets at wall and base intersections to strengthen critical joints before completing the process with a high-quality cementitious waterproofing system.

Unlike temporary solutions, we do not recommend using HDPE membranes without proper repair work. HDPE membranes are not waterproofing products and cannot permanently stop leaks on their own. Our approach ensures long-term protection by restoring the structural integrity of your concrete tank and providing a reliable, lasting waterproofing solution.

Our structural repairing & polyurea waterproofing service offers a highly effective and durable solution for waterproofing concrete structures. Polyurea coating is well-known for its excellent waterproofing strength and slightly flexible finish, providing long-term protection against water penetration.

The process begins with proper surface preparation and concrete repair, including cleaning the surface and patching defects such as honeycombs, crack lines, exposed steel bars, and construction joints using non-shrink grout. Once the surface is restored, an epoxy pre-filled primer is applied, followed by spraying a 2mm thick layer of polyurea coating across the concrete surfaces for complete waterproof coverage.

While polyurea is a reliable and efficient method, it requires specialized spraying equipment that is large and heavy. This can limit its use in small, narrow, or hard-to-reach areas where machinery cannot be easily positioned. For accessible spaces, however, polyurea waterproofing is one of the most durable and fast-curing solutions available.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

The procedure of tank waterproofing involves placing sealing substances across internal and external tank surfaces to both stop water leakage and protect the stored materials. Tank waterproofing remains crucial because it keeps water clean and protects the structure from damage thus prolonging tank longevity.

Tanks require waterproofing when leaks emerge or cracks form or previous waterproofing fails but no specific timeframe exists. Consistent examinations help avoid future critical issues.

Inspect the tank body for any indications of damage that include cracks along with wet spots and water marks which appear at the tank base or run along its walls. A rapid drop in tank water levels without corresponding increased water consumption indicates that you need to investigate for possible tank leaks. It is good practice to do regular inspections on the inside and outside of your tank to notice any underlying issue that could progress from water leak damage.

In most instances, a good waterproofing system will last 5 -10 years. This, however, depends on the surrounding environment and conditions of the tank, as well as your maintenance of it. A regular, thorough inspection should allow a wear indicator to be observed which may enable you to refresh the waterproofing system upwards of the point of damage.

The water tank's material and construction will determine the best waterproofing technique. Cementitious coatings are great options for concrete water tanks because they adhere well and prevent seepage. The polyurethane or epoxy coating is used in the metal water tank since they are effective in seepage prevention, as well as in corrosion. Seamless liquid-applied membrane also offers a good solution that could be more adaptable than coating for all types of metal or even concrete water tank.

Waterproofing does more for you than just stopping leaks. It keeps the quality of the water you put in your tank. Dirt, insects, and other impurities are kept out of a tank that is properly sealed. It also keeps mold or algae from growing. As a result, it will keep the water cleaner, and safer. And the water will be more useable for a longer period time.
